Academic studies

In the “Studies” section, you should put the names of your careers or diplomas, with dates, center and places. Usually, this will be the second section of your CV, right after your personal information, unless you already have many years of working experience and are interested in making this aspect stand out.

Frequently, we put the different studies in reverse chronological order, starting with the most recent ones, the most interesting ones for the enterprise, and ending with the first ones. However, you can also reverse the order if you think that way your CV will be more effective.

There are a couple of things you should keep in mind:

  • If you’ve participated in any international student exchange or gone study abroad, include it here.
  • It’s not necesary or relevant to include your high school studies if you went to the University. It’s only recommended if it’s considered important for some reason (studies abroad, international schools…)
