CV writing software
When writing your Curriculum Vitae, you may ask yourself a question: what program or software is best to use? My usual text editor (Word, Openoffice, Pages…)? A design program (Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop…)? Or maybe specific software for the creation of a CV? The options are endless.
The best choice depends, as always, on the working area and position we’re looking for. For most people using a word processor (such as Microsoft Office Word) works fine for writing a Curriculum Vitae. However, for some areas, such software may not be enough. A graphic or web designer, for example, often uses the resume as a portfolio to show his or her work. For them, it’s almost essential to use specific design programs like Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Freehand.
