The concept of part-time work depends on each country and its laws. However, as a general rule, when we talk about part-time work, it’s jobs with 20 or less hours per week. That is, 4 hours a day, 5 days a week.

The good side of this kind of contract is obvious: more free time, the posibility to mix jobs and other activities, family life… In some European countries, part-time jobs are growing since they allow a better combination of working and family life.

The problem is, of course, less working hours mean less money.
